Introduction of ME!

Hello. I am Kim Markham. I live just north of Topeka. I have been married to my husband, Dane, for almost 22 years. Dane is a firefighter for the City of Topeka and self-exployed as a painting contractor. We have four sons, Tylor (17), Parker 14, Trey (11) and Pierce (8). I have been a stay at home mom for over 17 years. During that time, I have subbed in a preschool and had a home daycare. I have a bachelor's degree in home economics from Washburn University. I graduated in 1987 from WU. I started taking online classes through FHSU in the summer of 2009. I am working toward a degree in elementary education with a minor in special education.  I now find myself being a mom, cheerleader, wife, housekeeper, bookkeeper, substitute teacher .... AND student.  My days are spent on things around the house and homework and my evenings are spent taking boys to practice, attending ballgames or (occassionally) a quiet night at home as a family.
